I’ve been working on and off over the past ten months now on Eric Provan’s epic indie platformer, SPATE. I’ve written over 60 minutes of music and am currently in the process of recording the score and making some final touches to a few of the cues. This has been a memorable experience for me creatively and I’m grateful to be working with some very talented musicians including Martin Tillman, Lisa Liu and Holly Sedillos. Next month I’ll be in the studio recording the final cutscene with a string quintet and am looking forward to a 30-piece orchestral string recording session in the not-too-distant future as well. Here’s the latest trailer for the game that features my music:

SPATE is scheduled to be released later this year and we are currently working to get it released in Steam. Please help by voting for us here.

I recently did an artist interview with music software developer, SampleSumo. These guys create some great audio processing tools! www.samplesumo.com/artists/mike-raznick.

Recent theatrical trailer placements include The Call, Star Trek and The Host.
